Description:
Always wanted to see if you can hack the day-to-day life of a TV producer? Here’s your chance!
MUD TV is your ticket to the weird wild world of television. Once you take control of your own station it’s up to you to determine the line-up, hire actors and directors, produce your own shows, series and movies and to grab those lucrative advertising deals from right under your competitors’ noses. Oh, and about the competition: you can either play MUD TV alone, with your friends over a network or via Internet! Go head-to-head with your opponents as you fight for market share amongst the retired and housewives, headhunt their best employees and, if that doesn’t do the trick, a little sabotage should keep your enemies from getting too bored! Or, as an alternative, you can assume control of a station together with a friend and run it cooperatively.

That's very true that the market determines the best way to kill... unfortunately. I also think that there is no "best way" of killing. Its awful to talk about it, but if we can't stop it, we might as well help in the best and most productive way possible. Have there been large television/advertising campaigns that highlight the plight of the dying whales? Anything that's caught major attention, enough to change the market?

SEGA talks Mature Wii game sales, thinks Nintendo could help out with supporting Mature games
G: With this type of volume for MadWorld, you feel you have reached all the target gamer for the Wii?

JR: With MadWorld, we believe we have struck a good portion of the target. Take into account that this is a good enough "type", and if you take the number of people interested in the action game gore or horror, it is in the absolute a small population, and this, beyond the issue of platform. It is not as unifying a party game or even a FPS, for example. Therefore, we believe we have made "full", even though the margin of increase is still possible.

G: But when the volume of games for the general public are four times higher than those of your tracks gamers, it should still make you think?

Then there is an ability to adapt what has been done among the general public on concepts more "gamer". However, Sega has been a big player on mature products on the Wii, Electronic Arts also Capcom also ...but not Nintendo. And maybe they could have been a good spokesman for this market. Nintendo has supported us on MadWorld for the French market, and in all territories, but perhaps in a "hidden." Nintendo is consumer products, with a PEGI 3 + and 7 +, but they never joined the game world mature. For this, they pass by outside publishers. They are not in front, and to support this type of games. If they threw in the game mature tomorrow, with an advertising campaign on television, maybe they would increase the market. For it is a very big ticket, on which we, the editors are not all willing to invest. Perhaps where Nintendo can make more money.

custom postcards may seem like a think of the past when it comes to advertising. However, when matched up against several much more expensive strategies, custom postcards hold their own. They can be customized to fit the audience and create a personal relationship with the customer.

Not only can a postcard be filled with color and information, but since it can be stuck in your pocket, mailed out, used as a "take one" in a booth or even at a store or restaurant, a postcard can actually reach more people than a television ad. And can certainly be more permanent.

If you run an ad on TV, then you only have so many eyeballs that see it. Another drawback is not being able to reach the most people due to the time the ad runs. custom postcards, at just a few cents a piece, can get into the hands of many more people than a commercial. TV ads cannot be targeted at an entire audience, they are aimed at smaller groups. While custom postcards can be custom designed for individuals or more general depending on the need.

For an existing customer base, custom postcards are great for introducing new products, invitations to special sales, or offering special discounts for being a great customer. custom postcards can be used to pique interest when it comes to new services, or on services you already offer. Simply using the postcard as a reminder of your hours or an upcoming sale, or even as a "haven't seen you in awhile" is effective.

custom postcards can also give you a quick and inexpensive way to drive customers to your booth at a trade show, or at a market. Even putting a map to an event or your place of business on a postcard means you can show a customer where you are, making it that much easier for them to actually connect to you in person. custom postcards are great for reminders for meeting dates and times and can be put on a bulletin board or fridge, always in the recipients view.

custom postcards can deliver a lot of information in a very small space, reaching potential clients as well as current customers. Using them effectively isn't just an inexpensive way to do business, it's an inexpensive way to do GREAT business. From offering discounts to introducing amazing new services or simply as a reminder of upcoming events, as far as the personal relationship side that customized communication can create, custom postcards are a valuable asset!
