W obronie krzyża

Nawiązanie do doniesień i spekulacji odnośnie końcówki 5 sezonu i częściowo o obsadzie sezonu 6.

And "charmingaussie" posted a confirmation on the Television Without Pity's House Forum: "I heard an interview on the radio this morning (in Australia) with Jesse Spencer and he said that something significant happens to Chase at the end of this season that will result in him being a regular next season. He wouldn't say what it was (of course) but he did say he couldn't believe it when he first read it."

A Kate?

(Zaczynam zachowywać sie jak krytyk z Television Without Pity...)

W następnym odcinku Locke ponownie odnajduje sens życia (i objawia mu sie duch ojca Hamleta...

El Desprecio (1991) was a Venezuelan telenovela that was produced by and seen on Venezuela's Radio Caracas Televisión. It was written by Miriam Foti, Manuel GonzĂĄlez, Julio CĂŠsar Marmol, Reinaldo RodrĂguez, and Morella Vega and directed by Luis Manzo. This telenovela lasted 152 episodes. It was distributed internationally by RCTV International. A remake was made in 2006

El Desprecio is based on two distinct storylines. The first focuses on a young woman, her struggles, misfortunes, loneliness, loves, happiness, sadness and continuous search of personal dignity. The second vividly illustrates ambition for power and money. Both are played out by a parade of legendary characters whose actions reveal the extremities of deivous plotting, intrigue and even murder.
The lead character Clara Ines Santamaria, an outcast who has unjustly been labeled mentally retarded because she shutters, lives a secluded life in the countryside in a hospice run by nuns. Society's grave misjudgement of Clara Ines will come to light and her profound intelligence will finally be discovered. Even though Clara Ines is actually a beautiful young woman, in the beginning she only inspires pity. She is from a wealthy family, but was raised by a nun who doesn't want her to know her true origins. One day, Clara Ines discovers the truth and sets off for the capital city to challenge her destiny. She meets Raul Velandro, a seemingly good man who immediately takes pity on her and extends his assistance. He tells her that he is a member of the family she is seeking, he sets a trap, and Clara Ines becomes involved in a series of circumstances that comprise the compelling plot of El Desprecio.

Saturday is my favourite day. I’m very busy during the week and I do not have much free time, so when the weekend comes I really like to relax and have a good time. In the morning I usually have to help my mother in the housework. I clean my room, water the flowers and then go shopping. When everything is ready, I can let loose and enjoy myself. I always do my homework in Friday so as to have more time to spare at the weekend. On Saturday evening I usually visit my friends or invite them to my place. We sit over a cup of tea with some delicious cake a listen to music, carry on long discussions and sometimes dance. Once a month I go with my friends to the cinema, to the theatre or to a concert. I like having an evening out on Saturday. When I come back home I usually watch television, do crossword puzzles or read magazine.

Saturday is a time for all the family. In the morning we go somewhere out of the city to get some fresh air. In the afternoon we often visit our grandparents and have a nice meal together. When weather is good, we sit in the garden and have barbecue. Then I take my dog for walk or go jogging.

Sunday evening is quiet. It is time to get ready for Monday. I read a book or watch television for a while and I go to the bed quite early. It is a pity that the weekend goes by so quickly.

Dr. House is the "Best Character of the Decade"

#1 – Gregory House, House

It's no secret that I've lost interest in the television series House. Its cyclical storytelling and lack of plot progression finally made me stop watching after the fifth season. However, that doesn't mean that I don't like the character of House; I think he's one of the greatest television characters ever.

When House was casting, actor Hugh Laurie believed that the series (which didn't have a title yet) would revolve around the character of Wilson, and that House would serve as Wilson's sardonic sidekick. This, however, was not the case. House was the main character of the show, and has consistently proven his worthiness throughout the series, especially in the first three seasons.

As a completely self-centered character, House has been often compared to Sherlock Holmes, and the connection is completely intentional. Both characters are geniuses and both characters have addictions. Both characters confide in close friends (Wilson/Watson), and both characters have the address of 221B. Name references to characters such as Moriarty and Irene Adler are thrown around, making the connection all the more obvious.

Like Holmes, House has great intelligence, and often is able to tell a lot about people simply by looking at them (in one instance, he diagnosed a waiting room full of patients on his way out the door).

However, House is also a very sad character. Aside from Wilson, he is unable to build any lasting relationships, though he does have an interest in Lisa Cuddy, the hospital administrator. The child of an abusive father, House walks with a cane after an infarction of the quadriceps muscle in his leg. This muscle was removed, though it caused him to experience pain, leading him to develop an addiction to the painkiller Vicodin, leading him to brushes with the law and eventually hallucinations. House supposedly conquered this addiction in the season six premiere, "Broken."

House, like our number #6, Ari Gold, has plenty of biting insults at his command. He has a disdain for everyone, citing his mantra, "Everybody lies." However, despite this, House is very reliant on people, especially Wilson, who often helps House during low moments in his life. House, in turn, helps Wilson during such moments, such as giving Wilson a place to stay during Wilson's divorce. Cuddy has often saved House from punishment, when urging the hospital board to stand up to Edward Vogler, and when committing perjury during House's hearing.

House has proven to be one of the most complex and interesting characters ever to appear on television, and is certainly the best character that the aughts have introduced. It's a pity that he hasn't been given better material to work with, but at least he is one of the most recognizable faces in the entertainment industry today.
